Leading IT and office products dealer group, Synaxon UK, has added the prestigious name of Gateway to its list of vendor partners, giving its members access to the company’s full range of premium server, PC and notebook systems, storage and monitors for the SME market.

Synaxon plans to introduce many more of its current members to the high quality and value that all Gateway products deliver and to assist the vendor in achieving its ambitious growth targets for 2011. Already established as a leading provider of high-quality professional systems in the UK, Gateway is looking to extend the number of VARs it works with and increase its market share significantly over the next 12 months.

Gateway will participate in a range of Synaxon marketing activities, including its iTrends website and bi-monthly end-user mailer. These powerful tools generate new business leads for a range of special offers that are available only from Synaxon resellers. In addition, Synaxon will provide its members with access to the Gateway channel partner program, through which they will be able to obtain favourable discounts and rebates and a number of other benefits. It is also planning to run a number of exclusive training and product briefing sessions for resellers in partnership with Gateway.

With the UK agreement, Gateway and Synaxon to emulate the successful partnership that the two organisations have formed in Germany, where Synaxon is firmly established as the leading dealer group in the IT and office products sectors.

Gateway, the Acer Group brand that is completely dedicated to the professional market, will continue to work directly with its existing network of authorised partners while Synaxon will take on the task of recruiting, enabling and activating new resellers for the company from within its 650-plus strong membership base. These partners will provide incremental business and thus help Gateway to grow it sales and market share.
