The eighth Synaxon UK Member Conference takes place at the Jury’s Inn Hotel Hinckley on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June 2019 and if you want to make sure of your place, please sign-up as quickly as you can. The theme this year is New Horizons – building a better future with Synaxon and we’ll be focusing on the new and far-reaching investment that Synaxon AG is making in the UK operation. This year we will be bringing you a new conference experience, centred around smaller and intimate access to our vendor and distribution partners and a greater emphasis on workshops. Another highlight will be a special talk by our VIP Gust Speaker, Gerald Ratner. The riches to rags and back to riches entrepreneur is known for speaking with candour and a great deal of humour about his roller-coaster journey. While he may be ranked top in The Sun’s list of the ‘50 biggest mistakes of all time’, Ratner’s story shows how businesses and individuals can – even having been through the most difficult and challenging conditions – revive their fortunes and triumph. We’re also expecting him to share his views on what really makes great customer service.

New starters arrive to take Synaxon UK into a new era
You will have seen our recent announcement of the New Start programme in the UK, which will see significant investment being made to bring new staff on board and introduce a whole new range of services for our members.
We have already made great progress in recruiting new members to the team. The latest to join are Mario Scarpa, who has joined as our dedicated Technical Support Executive for EGIS, and Natasha Judge, who has joined as one of our growing Business Development Manager team.

SynMSP makes progress
There are now more than 80 members in our SynMSP group, and we expect the ranks to reach 100 by the end of the year. A meeting of the SynMSP Board is due to take place in May in London at the offices of Avast. Members will receive a summary of the action points that come out of this meeting a few days after it take place.
A further gathering of the entire group will be scheduled for October or November this year and there will also be an informal gathering of members at the Member Conference in June.

Synaxon UK’s iTeam – an exclusive peer-group community for C-Level Officers and Directors of growing technology businesses – has got off to a flying start, and if you think you could benefit from being a part of the team, please get in touch.
This group is designed for larger members (ten employees or more) that have a B2B focus and are active, engaged and progressive members of the Synaxon community. The iTeam membership and approach has been a great success in Germany, where there are more it has been running for 15 years than 350 members of this group. Synaxon UK are now looking to replicate that success by providing growing and ambitious members with a forum to build the contacts necessary for growth. Several UK members have now been recruited and initial group meetings are scheduled for the near future.
