SYNAXON UK NEWS – April/May 2019

11th May 2019, von in SYNAXON UK News

Congratulations to Nikki

Congratulations to Nikki Foster, Nikki Foster, a long-standing member of our team of Account Managers, who got married recently. Nikki has been at Synaxon for just over five years and many (of not most) of our members will know her well.

Like everyone at Synaxon, she loves her job. Nikki said: “Everyone at Synaxon has been wonderful to me over the years. The people here are great to work with and, dare I say it, the members are even better. They get so much out of being part of the wider community and I think we do as well. There is always something to do and always something new to learn. The whole team is prepared to roll their sleeves up and get the job done, whatever it takes. I genuinely enjoy it – I think everyone does.”

Julia joins the team

Julia Williams is the latest addition to the Synaxon UK team. She arrived from our German office to take up the post of Project Liaison Officer and will be responsible for co-ordinating the efforts of our colleagues in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock and Warrington.

This is an important role, especially now that Synaxon UK has launched its ‘New Start’ project with significant investment being made to increase the number of staff, share best-practice, drive business efficiency, and deliver new services and benefits to members.

Julia said: “I’m excited to be joining the UK team at this time, when such a lot of new investment is being made and there is a real prospect of significant change. I’m really looking forward to working with the team here in Warrington and supporting them and our members in every way that I can.”

We welcome Julia to the UK team and wish her every success.

Synaxon short-listed for Best Partner Programme

Synaxon UK has been short-listed for Best Partner Programme award in this year’s CRN Sales and Marketing Awards.

The awards recognise and reward the achievements of those individuals and teams that are responsible for making the UK IT channel truly great. They focus on innovation, evolution and development and Synaxon UK was selected on the basis of the work we have done in developing the SynMSP programme.

With more than 80 members now, SynMSP deliver a number of benefits, including

· Education and support on managed services
· Full integration into EGIS, Synaxon’s online portal
· Exclusive offers and discounts on all cloud services
· Access to special regional focus groups and meetings

For the Best Partner Programme, we’re on an esteemed list of names that includes UKFast, PFU EMEA Ltd (Fujitsu scanners), HP Inc (HP for Education), BullGuard and Malwarebytes. The winner is announced in London on 4 July. Hopefully, we will come out on top but being short-listed is an achievement in itself. We will, of course, continue to work hard and do everything we can to improve and enhance our programme for members. If you have any feedback on what you’d like to see from us in the coming months, do let us know.
